Uses: Exterior joinery, high-class interior and exterior fittings, normal and heavy duty flooring, boat building (decking), chemical-resistant tanks, house framing  stairs, heavy construction, furniture, shingles

Working properties: Power required for sawing, slow drying, difficulties to irregular grain in machining, wood bending moderate, special precaution for gluing needed, good nailing, good finishing
